I don't know why I wasn't notified of this post.
I was concerned by your absense and checked out your portfolio and noticed this gem.
You certainly sum love up as far as is possible, and from BOTH sides which is unique in my limited reading experience.
Blimey, what a thoughtful soul you are:
'connection, friendship, bond, trust, forgiveness, shared experiences, tolerance, sex ('sliding around on his skin' and 'sleeping on the wet spot' are wonderful and fun examples), and acceptance.'
With that lot going for it, then 'love sure is grand'.
Hubby is a very lucky bloke.
A 'sixer' for all the thought, humour and common sense you've put into this special poem.

Oh, I really like this, mystery poet. You seem to cover a lot of the aspects of marriage here, and your free verse carries me right along being that I am so engrossed in what you have to say here. I like the reference to keeping the door to the throne room open occasionally. When in love, we should hold nothing back. As you say here, "ain't love grand." My best to you in the contest.

Awww thanks special lady. Free verse NOT my strong point as you well know so to get some sixers for this is wonderful..the win was good too...LOL Yep, hold nothing back I say...hence the dunny door wide open... we only actually close it when we have visitors! LMAO...thanks for your encouraging review.

Wow Adonna, thanks so much. I appreciate your suggestion with that word and its one I toil with so I shall take another look at that. Your sixer review I shall treasure, thankyou, as I am not a free verser much at all...it even won, haha...so there you go...only a small field though so not sure it would be as strong a contender against more entries. Still a win is a win and I'll take it.

Thanks muchly. Can't say I'm happy with the title either and believe it or not I toiled over a couple for a bit and ended up with this. Most times my titles are pretty good. Thanks for picking that up. Glad you enjoyed the important part though, the poem. LOL
