Hey there Justin
This is a cyber 6 star review. This was excellent. It was such a waste of a life and talent when he died. I have always been a huge fan. What a poem. It sounds more like a nightmare to me. I hate snakes but that is no reflection on your poetic talent

I am glad you took the time to explain the whole Morrison having a nick name because I was unaware. I like the imagery you pose in this poem, but my issue with it is I guess I don't really understand the value, or moral you are trying to present. But, it is very well written and it takes courage to post any type of poetry anywhere, so with that in mind: Thanks for sharing!

I guess the moral would be not to be too trusting with anybody who you've never meant especially rockstars. Thanks for the review change.

This is an awesome poem. So different from most of the work here. The picture of Jim Morrison hooked me and I love the intensity throughout the story within your poem. Nice.

Great poem. It did read like a song. When I was reading your notes, I started hearing, "Come on baby light my fire." in my head. Great imagery, great use of your imagination and great rhyme. I really enjoyed it. Just to show you how bizarre my mind is. I even thought of The Jacksonville (Fl.) Lizard Kings. They are a minor league hockey team. Sorry about that. ! :) Shirley

Yes, I can relate to that, well I certainly relate to The Lizard King and The Doors. Have an old LP near me now. Great achievments during a tragicaly short life.
Good poem; real dream?

This is a very insightful poem and I like the information you left about it. I know who some of the older singers were, but I sort of missed them between situations in my own life. Keep writing and start singing, if you don't already. You have much to do with your life!

An interesting fantasy! No doubt Jim would take note of it. He was always one of my favorites putting out poetry like no one else could. I liked this. Have a 6!
