This is absolutely lovely, I love how you are consistent with your subject matter all the way through. I find myself not reading all the way through a lot of work, because I get lost in what they are trying to convey. Actually as I was listening, I wondered if you somehow watched me when I enjoy the outdoors. But of course that is impossible as I live in Alaska, while you are in Australia, hehehe. Anyway, your work is very calming and life giving, keep up the wonder work. :)

This is a beautiful poem! I really like just enjoying nature alot, and I really like when you read the poem, then you can just sit back and enjoy.

Another of your beautiful poems Alex.
It is very easy to read. It takes you along for the ride. I always think that the most important part of any poem is the first few verses. If you cannot capture the feel in the first verses then usually it fails.
I love to hear you reading the poem also. I don't know if anyone has ever said this, but I find your soft Scottish accent really adds a soothing element. Perhaps I am being biased being a Galloway lass myself. I like the verse below. This verse sums up the journey you take us on so well.
I slowly rise from this magic place,
time now to retreat back to the human race.
Oh I wish that I could remain,
and be part of Nature's loved domain.

Hi Auld Yin
A really beautiful poem of a fascinating nature walk.
But you wrote this in English! I guess it saved having to have all those author's notes?
A wonderful presentation.

A long one for you, but beautiful. All double rhyming quatrains with a good flow. Mostly about nature and so grand it makes you want to cry.

I love this beautiful poem you've woven. I could picture myself in such a place, and I felt the decrescendo of having to leave. Another lovely piece from one of my favorite poets. Thanks for sharing.

Very beautifully penned in words, heart and soul.
I enjoyed reading this very much. I have my own moments when I gaze out at the wonder around us in nature.
Excellent my friend, lovely rich imagery, wonderful rhythm and rhyme.
My favouite:
"I feel the centuries of past gone souls,
I let my mind relax to play the role.
Long gone life's of ancient times,
my rested mind now acts and mimes." // Loved this stanza Alex, beautiful....
Thanks for sharing.
