I like to cuddle up to the "Los Angeles Times" on Sundays, but I've never read, nor do I think we have a bridal section. I can understand how your imaginative and Sherlock Holmes' side would drive you to weave a story about the couples pictured or from their announcements. I like your introspective ending and view of your own love story! Hugs- Joan

A picture can bring about a novel of words without doing justice to the image. This is very well writtenw with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Very nice! Nice hobby, positive and hopeful. But it is about your writing, which is very good. I like the way you write, it feels like we are just sitting down having some iced tea and you are telling me what you enjoy doing on Sunday. So you look at the Sunday paper and the wedding announcements. Makes me think of Charlotte and Harry's NY Times wedding photo on "Sex in the City." Don't know if you are a fan, but if you are, you know what I mean! This is well written and easy to read, and has no sensational drama, just a nice easy conversation where you the writer, tells us, the readers about your Sundays. The photo is lovely also. And I glad that YOUR picture still holds a spot by the mantle in a simple frame, and that it is still bliss.

Better still to imagine what it would be like to be one of these newly weds, with the hopes and aspirations we all have on our wedding day, only to find many of those hopes dashed or let's say, taking on a totally different shape to what we expected. Interesting subject, especially since you don't know the people in the pictures.
Liked this line: their eyes are caught in one same unseen spot, as if a minuscule particle of dust crossed the air at that particular time and they caught it together
