Well written and your expressiona are heartfelt and move the reader to feel what you are feeling. No easy task. I liked especially that the picture in your mind provides contentment. I always tell my girls, that memories are forever.

This was different nature and memory usually I would make this connection with water with a walk by the beach. Birds flying in the sky or a person gazing over the ocean. Swimming or animals in the sea is not something I would think of. Even though Sea turtles are probably the oldest member of the ocean family and they often wonder lonely in the sea. They are the symbol of freedom and no responsibility. Well done for thinking outside the box.

Your review made my day. This poem is true, I did see a sea turtle swimming in the Carribean while on a boat trip. Thanks for such an encouraging review. This contest is a difficult challenge for me.
