This was one of my favorite!. And honestly, I sound senile at this moment, but I'm not sure if I voted for yours or another one. I often tend to pick stories about families and stories about love and redemption. Oh, the wonders of childhood and all the monsters there that fade away as we get older! I, too, loved monster movies like Frankenstein and the Werewolf, but could only watch them is my older brother (by six years) was watching with me. He was my monster spray since our rooms were side by side. I figured if anything came after me, Jimmy would beat them senseless and save the day.

Also,
'D-did she just use two of the most irresistible words in my vocabulary, "magically" and "scary" in the same sentence?'
The mother didn't use magically and scary, she only used magically.
Just a couple of little things in an entertaining story.

Magic Wand this was such a heartwarming story, I really liked it and the idea of monster spray, where was that when I was a kid :) I still sleep with the blankets over my head from nightmare's as a child, its just a habit now of course. Thanks for sharing it was a pleasure..
