This is a very creative poem filled with eloquent imagery and metaphors. The poem drawers the reader in and holds interest throughout -- and the artwork does much of the same. Excellent poem. I will look at this as a challenge.

I'll paint for you, of silver swans
flaunting jeweled breast
The prima donas
of placid emerald lagoons,
gracefully, with aplomb glissade
upon the elixir of life
A dance more exquisite
than Tchaikovsky could dream
A ballet beguiling nature's audience
The iridescence schools of dragon scales
just beneath their stage, scattering in profusion
Rippling fluid waves
The cast of August moon, floats in onyx sky
illuminating the show, spotlight,
golden gilded ribbons imbue silver swans,
sidling between their petit jete'
A spectacular affair
monarchs stand stately in the shadows
brusque silhouettes of oaks, reflect,
whispering breezes peal their august leaves,
orchestrating, eliding, joining the tendu
In dazzling hues I'll compose life for you
infusing layers of pastel for gentle touch
a broad stroke of vivid chroma
leaps with joy
Splashes of ochre dares to laugh
Feathered lines of green brings to life
birthing hope
Intersperse tones of blue, vivid, sure,
as the azure sky, atop which faith will fly
The purest white to highlight truth
Shades of crimson will bloom for love
Soft lines of lilac will catch the eye,
drawing grace with softest touch
Vibrant gold, yellows will tell of warmth
Sienna conjures the sense of ground
and in this art, you will find, God's gift of life
A masterpiece, no rival can be found
Jewel, shall I go on.. I do have to go home sometime tonight... lol... jimi

No. This was a perfect review, especiallt considering my topic! I would rather have a great emitional response than a grade any day.
Too mant "poets" need to lighten up.

Hello Jewell
It would seem that you do by example, those things that you would like all poets to do. I guess inspiration comes and goes in many different ways. Yours inspired me...now I must look for my muse and give her a swift kick in the get-along. :)
