Nice chapter, explained a lot. I am not sure he would have reached up a covered her hand when she was trying to refasten her bra. The touch of her bare breast seemed a bit out of place, turning his back may have been more appropriate.
"[Not too bad, thanks. Why not] Just tell Carlos you're not a virgin." - I do not think a confident man would let that slip by.
"We'll discuss it in the morning." -- Maybe add something like: We have a few days, don't get carried away. If I don't figure out a way for you not to marry Carlos, I promise I'll take of the virginity thing on Thursday.

I know that, but there is a house full of able bodied men that might think it would be fun nailing Vegas' daughter. By promising to take care of the 'virginity thing' she won't be on the prowl and he did commit to doing it himself.
Steven is confident to know that he can take care of business without 'taking care of business' ;o)

I liked this read. Well written with an easy forward flow to the story, as in other chapters of this book, yes Iv'e back read a couple of chapters to get a better handle on the story line. You have good strong and believable characters. All I can say is, Good job.-----Gary

She wants to seduce Steven so she doesn't have to marry Carlos. Doesn't she realize if she isn't a virgin, her father might kill her? He can't be too thrilled with her because she betrayed him. Besides, in this country that isn't a legal contract so it can't be enforced.

~LOL~ Poor guy. Not many ways to solve that problem though. He better make up his mind though, cause if it ain't him it'll be someone else. She seems pretty set on not marrying the guy. Italics worked fine. Nice chapter!

Boy, he sure showed lots of restraint - lots of men I know would have had a roll in the hay and then thought about the implications for their careers later - just look at all the politicians who fall from power because they couldn't keep their pants zipped. LOL She sure offers one interesting reason for seducing him!! A most fascinating chapter. Brooke

Well at least now we know that it was not naked desire that caused Leya to try to seduce Stephen.
