Somewhat funny. I had wondered, since it was a Walmart store, why you had the Kmart logo for your picture. The guy up in the rafters with a bull horn, I could picture that with no problem. Some store managers do get a bit frantic. :-) Good writing. Karen

I got a good laugh from this, better than his wife, I think. It would be something funny to happen at Wal-Mart and I would have loved to be there to see it. The conversation was real and flowed well.

This contest entry was fun to read. Walmart has made many small businesses close and that's not a good thing. I enjoyed reading and good luck with the contest.

I think America lost out with the loss of the "blue light specials" ha ha. I think you did a creative job combining that with Walmart. And you also gave I don't know how many people the idea to go crawling into the ceiling tiles with a bull horn! Good entry for the contest. Julie.

Chuckling here. I'm old enough to remember the mass hysteria caused by those darn "Blue Light Specials" -- and inevitably I'd end up buying the item, at significant savings ~ if only I'd needed two left gloves or a knife that could slice tomatoes to thin you can read through the slices!
Now the only announcements I hear (often at Walmart) are the "Code Adams" for missing children. (Maybe the parents could attach a flashing blue light and...
Oh, never mind. Bad idea.
