Sounds as though two soul mates don't make a sole mate. As they say, two is company but three is a crowd, a menage a trois> in fact. Yes, I imagine Siamese twins might present a bit of a challenge under these circumstances.

That would take a special (extra-lonely?) kind of girl to have a relationship like this, I'm thinking. Privacy would definitely be a lost commodity. I guess it would also take a special kind of brother, too, if he weren't the one who was the boyfriend.

Have you ever seen the cult movie "Todd Browning's Freaks?" In it, a Siamese (now conjoined!) twin marries two different men. Anyhow, if I were a woman, I'd pick the geek. The jock might leave! Sure, I know the geek might leave, too, but who cares? (An old vaudeville joke!)

The movie was banned for several years, then released again when I was at college. Actually, it's worth seeing, if even to see how people born differently were treated in the (thankfully) old days. TCM sometimes shows it.
