severed leaves take flight

I like your choice of imagery here. You've chosen active terms to highlight the behaviour of the "tickling" wind in "severing" the leaves and thereby invoking Fall's "sympathy". The actions of the natural forces at play here are prominent and lively. Good luck for the contest.

It always amazed me how trees know just when to shed their leaves and do it all together like a community of like-minded souls, a fine post, love Dolly x x x

Same here, unlike spring here in Texas when the trees bloom too soon, then here comes another frost.

A well written poem. It is difficult to write a haiku but you have done a good job. I love the first line of the poem. The artwork complements your poem. I wish you the very best in the contest.
With kind regards

Comment from leather
Short and succinct, but quite visual by way of word and illustration. You did a great job in using the colored text that matches the central color theme. That's excellent attention to detail, which pays off well in this case.
P.S.> I'm out of six-star ratings.

This haiku is descriptive, great picture used to illustrate it, but it also presents a picture of its own with its wording. I like it very much, great seasonal poem.

This is a beautifully presented piece of poetry written in haiku style. You have used some lovely imagery and alliteration to emphasise your well chosen words. A bit of personification in the trees being tickled. Well done.
