An excellent rhyming poem. Well done. You have captured the chaos and the sadness of the catastrophic event. I hope you do well in the competition.

A clever rhyming loop poem which tells the story of a huge tragedy in a very vivid way. I like "pains belong to the living". It also contrasts well the plight of the different social classes. Well done. Good luck for the contest.

Well done with your Rhyming Loop poem K and I like that you highlight those that were trapped below decks as against those in first class.
Good luck with the contest. Cheers

Hi Valda, Many thanks for dropping by. Glad you appreciated the difference between the passengers. The immigrants were locked in so as to not cause a riot. Most spoke no English and no one returned to let them out. K xx

This shocking event is forever in the news and more recently with the sub that tried to view the titanic and imploded with passengers on board. Your poem brings the tragedy to life here. Love Dolly x x x

Hello Dolly Peg, Many thanks for dropping by. Yes, a dreadful maritime disaster. The immigrants were locked in to prevent a riot. Apparently, the steward didn't return to let them out! Love, Kay XX

One of the greatest historical tragedies in history. Can not even imagine the panic.
This line was profoundly true:
Pains belong to the living,
One has to hope and pray that the dead feel no pain.
Good writing!

This could easily been in the Loop poem contest as well. Your looping and rhyming is perfectly done and you told us the tragic tale of the Titanic. We're reminded more of those ghosts as recently the submarine, Titan imploded as it was seeking a peek at the wreck of the Titanic. So sad.
Best wishes in the contest!

Hello Lena, Apparently, the Titan had no permission to dive into the wreck and was not in great shape. After 100 years the Titanic still brings people to her. Love, Kay XX
