Hello, Kym,

Firstly, thank you for thanking me for leading the club. You did a wonderful job with your entry. Nature is angry and we are to blame. Global warming is a real thing that many people in government deny. We are having a tropical storm, Hilary, that is flooding many cities. I'am okay thus far.

well done!

Sad, but so true. Unfortunately, some tend to ignore alarms. Until it's too late. This is an excellent response to the club challenge. Perfect artwork to highlight your words.

This 5-7-5, Climate Ignites, has the proper formatting and demands attention as the long warned of destruction of the planet by unaddressed climate-change forces has arrived.

Hello Kahpot. A great 5-6-5 haiku, perfectly formatted on a very important subject. Excellent opening and satori - very well chosen words.

The picture of the forest wildfire is intimidating - we can feel the heat ourselves - and the opening line, 'the CLIMATE ignites' is a powerful metonymy. Very accomplished. The result of global warming is indeed worldwide devastation - and that should wake up every one of us, as your satori tells us.

I am so impressed with this that I will give it six stars. Thank you.
Paul

I like your haiku poem - excellent picture presentation- good syllable count and connection between lines- theme reminds - Daughter in a Hurricane in California and my son in Canada with forest on fire- worldwide deviation one billion year away when the sun expands to consume the earth - poem makes a good observation ! Good poem for the challenge! Bless AP

You're so right. We should all pay attention to this "alarm bell." There are too many bizarre climate conditions and we all need to make some changes to stop the destruction. Great job with your haiku.

If only the masses would listen to what the world is telling them. Things are changing and if we don't get on board and do better it will all come to a crashing halt.
