My sweet Karenina.... I hope I have climbed to the top of the mountain and I have found my way back to writing. It was a short piece but it felt good to see it fill the page and then be accepted so highly by so many. My spirits soared! I missed you-though you were never far from my thoughts. I've been missing your writing. This is very well done. The ending is a bit of a shock until I thought about the fact that he was the same kind of animal who had killed her sister. He got what he deserved. You didn't waste a word getting a complete story into only 200 words.

Ha, I like it. Two very nice twists round out the ending and there is enough character development for such a short story to make it possible to "see" what is happening. You might as well take this little gem and lengthen it as I could even see a short novel coming out of this.
