Oy. That is worse than I ever imagined. (And it's only Part I of the story! We still have to learn how they disposed of the body.) She sat there eating a sandwich, like his death was a spectator sport? Ugh!
That's actually way worse than her killing the witness!
I liked the "does it get good gas mileage...circumstances change" foreshadowing!
It's getting very exciting now! (And I appreciate your posting more and not leaving me hanging!!)

Yeah, the money-for-posting thing is a drag. But we all knew it going in. It doesn't impede your story in any way. That's the bottom line with good writing.

I thought what's more cold hearted. Killing someone or sitting and watching them die like it's a spectator sport. I chose the later. Thank you for this nice review. Gretchen
