There is a beautiful sentiment in your 7 words plus an accompanying sad story. I'm so sorry you lost your mother this way.
Unfortunately, for such a short poem, the grammar is incorrect. "From" is an incorrect preposition following "robbed." The correct preposition is "of"
as in "I was robbed of my money."
I would suggest using "stole" instead of "robbed" thus becoming:
"Dementia...stole my sweet
Mother from me.
The alternative is "Dementia robbed me of my mother" but I would recommend the first if you want mother to be capitalized, which it normally isn't, unless you use it as her name, as in: "I told Mother that I loved her." or, as in your poem, it is the first word on the line of a poem.

A very eloquent and touching poem. Words and imagery convey so much in the space of this poem, paintings with sensitivity the before and after. Sweet mother, two very intense and purposeful words highlighting that nothing can ever change love for a dear mother. I am going through this, though with mine. Thank you for sharing this poem. It sensitized.

It's very sad. The something happened to my mother-in-law. She was very sweet and healthy. Then dementia took her away. I hope it will be a cure soon.

Good entry for the Seven Words or Less Poetry writing contest! I wish you Good Luck in the voting booths.
I link dementia to Alzheimer's. It's all got to do with a lack of blood flowing to the brain. It's like a virus in a computer. It's a thief. It robs a person of their personality. I saw my grandfather Bartlett go right back to his childhood. Hard to watch a true woodsman lose his ability to think clearly. My mother followed the same path years later. Then my aunt and an uncle, and finally (so far) my 60 year old brother in July of 2020. (Peter was a talented artist! and so young for this terrible disease.) So far, I've been fortunate. And it's one of the reasons I write, to keep my mind active in the "Golden Years".

In just a few words you have captured the pain and sorrow of losing a loved one to the curse of dementia. It is commendable that you did know hold it against your mom when she became verbally abusive. That was the disease talking. Thank you for sharing your poem.

A good poem that is so sad at the same time. My grandmother and mother-in-law went that way too and it's a cruel disease for sure.
