I think you have had more than your share of hard luck. You have my sympathy. Life gives us lots of curves. They say "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." May 2023 be a much better year for you! Sarah

Absolutely, Sarah. That is part of life, and it does make you stronger. I have always found that. But this year too much has happened and still is.
Thank you so much for your kind review a wishes. Ulla:)))

-Thanks for sharing the photo and update, Ulla.
-This year has not been good to you and your family
and hopefully, as things improve, the next one will be better.
-It is interesting to see the beams you were talking about
and what a shock it must have been for one to come out of the ceiling.
-I am sorry that your brother and sister-in-law are going through so much.
-It might not be an answer, but stress can impact the body in many different ways. They have to be exhausted from everything they've gone through, and are still experiencing.
-Thoughts are with you and them and hope things take a turn for the better soon.
-One small thing: to get I'll as well. [ill]

First of all, thank you so very much, Pam, for your wonderful review and stars. I'm so grateful and it lifts my spirits.
You're absolutely right. Reuben and Kimberly are completely stressed out and it is not helpful.
I'm really worried about them. Fortunately, I have my health and enjoy to renovate and upgrading my house. I could, of course, have done without the beams but it's all material things.
By the way, I totally forgot to write about all the rain we had in early spring when my village got cut off from the outer world. So much has really happened in 2022 and is still happening.
Thank you much again, Pam. Ulla xx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Ulla. Thanks for sharing everything.

This story, A Broken Year, is definitely filled with misfortune and havoc, to be certain. To be able to speak OF it and not be the subject of someone else's summary is a high point to remember.

If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour then turning to Him for help will get it done. If you do know Jesus, just simply ask Him for a blessing as your family and He must do it just as the scriptures claim He will.

Wow, it does sound like the year 2022 has been a bummer for you. I'm so sorry for your run of problems. I hope 2023 is a great year for you. I noticed a couple of typos I thought I'd point out.
1. ...intravenous antibiotic drop... (Maybe it should be drip.)
2. ... to get I'll as well... (ill)

You've certainly had a lot happen. I'm so sorry for all involved. I know the feeling of just getting over one mishap when along comes another. Hang in there. We're all praying for you. Keep us posted.

Shakespeare once wrote, "There are more things in heaven earth Horatio..." there are many sayings that can help if we want them to. I don't understand why these things happen, but I do know what helps, there are things beyond our comprehension, and if we remain resistant and remain with what we see, hear, feel and think, then those pragmatic things will prevent us from coping. I know my sympathy won't, even though you have it, blessings Ulla,
