Sounds like a plan! I'm not familiar with Mildred--but from their banter I can tell they'll make for an amusing pair of characters slinging snark amidst their collaboration. Go for it!

Thanks, Alie. I like the picture too. And it's free to use however I want. Pixabay.
I'm glad you like the idea, so far everyone does, so I'm going to start getting some notes together and see where they can go. Thanks for your input, my friend. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

Thank you so much, Roy. It seems that everyone liked Mildred's idea, Lol. I'm sure I'll be able to get some good adventures from our colourful history.
I've been glued to the television today watching our late Queen's journey through Scotland before they bring her home. It's surreal here, the sadness mixed with the celebrations of our new King Charles 111. It's nice to see him being cheered, though. It's going to be strange here without her. Love and hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I agree, I was around with George V1.

The real interesting thing about this to me is the relationship you seem to have with your characters. They really come to life for you and have conversations with you and everything. That shows your imagination. I think it's an interesting concept to get into, this time travellers mystery series. There's all kinds of possibilities there. Mildred and Bessie would make a good team. Plenty of possibilities in having people from different times give different perspectives on the stories. estory

It's funny that you should say that, estory, they really do come alive for me. I've actually cried with Mildred in the last of the Time-Travel-Trilogy, that shows you what a idiot I am!! I tend to get into their heads. I'll need counseling when I put them two together! LOL. I'm sure you'll like Mildred if you haven't met her yet. Thank you for reading her idea, and I'm glad you like it. I haven't had one negative review so far. So, I am going ahead with it. Thanks so much, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xx

Well, I think it's a brilliant idea! We (your in-awe readers) have learnt to love both the ladies in question, so putting them together could make a fabulous combination.
Well done, my friend - I think you've cracked it!

Aww, thank you, Alexis! I'm so pleased you liked Mildred's idea. I thought it was pretty good, too! LOL. It won't be started until I come home from my hols, but it will be ready before I go. Thanks so much for the golden star, my wonderful friend. Love you lots. :)) Sandra xxxx

I think they would make an exceptional team. You might even consider their joint effort in a historical setting, perhaps a fictional account of dealings with Winston Churchill, or one of the early kings or queens. I'm reading Alan Moore's 1500-page tome, "Jerusalem" now, and his characters have fictional encounters with all sorts of Royalty and pretenders. Whatever you choose, I am CERTAIN it will be entertaining and emotionally enriching.

I must check that book out. It sounds fascinating. I doubt I could ever write a book that long! But you have stirred my imagination, Jay, I'll be delving into a few as there are some great historical moments in the UK that I could send my duo to, and I will!! Thank you for that idea!
I'm so pleased you liked the idea, my friend, Thank you so much for the golden star, and the fabulously helpful review! Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

I see a trilogy in the future.
The ideas connect thoroughly enough to captivate the reader no matter the direction of the story.
Your readers love Mildred and Bessie, I mean what's not to love?
I love the accent you have given them and I also enjoy the way they interact with one another.
They are comical, whimsical, quizzical. and a hoot!!
Very enjoyable!!

Aw, thank you, Kitty! I'm sure they will be great together and I can't wait to start. They'll be able to do things other detectives can't. I'm so pleased you like the idea. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxxx
This is a copy and paste bit, just to let you all know what I'll do:
I won't post the first chapter until I return from holiday. I'm going on a cruise around the Canary Islands, on the 8th October until the 22nd, but I'll get the first chapter ready to post for the 23rd October before I go.

Enjoy your holiday!!

It sounds like a great idea for Mildred and Bessie to team up. I'll certainly be glad to see Bessie again. She was a great help to Margot and Meg, and I loved it when she used some of her tricks to give the baddie a scare. By their dialogue in this, the two gals are going to get along fine. They can really go "undercover" when they try to solve a mystery. Best of luck with your new writing. judi

I'm so excited, Judi, you've all told me to do it, and I am. The possibilities are endless! You're right about their dialogue, they will be great together. Considering it's their idea (LOL) they'd better be!
Thanks so much for that lovely gold star, my dear friend, and your fabulous comments. I'm so pleased you're for it. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

Well, you have to do something. I mean you can't just cut these two adventurers loose and never bring them back again.
Para 3, 3rd sentence: (there) should be (their)
Para 5, 2nd sentence: Remove (to) (gonna) already has it covered
Para 6, 1st sentence: (pocket) should be (pockets)
Under *****
Para 3, 1st sentence: Remove one space before (So)
Sounds like a plan. Give us a first installment and let's see.

Hi Gary. Thank you so much for tidying up my writing, I was gobsmacked at how many stupid errors I'd made! I've made those corrections now, and thank you for letting me know. After 25 replies telling me to 'go for it' I am. 😊 I have a few things to do and a holiday imminent, 8th October, back on the 22nd. I've decided to work on the first chapter, get my ideas sorted, and have it ready for the day after I come back on the 23rd October. I'm sure I'll need your eagle-eye! Thanks again, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

You did a great job, Sandra, with your ideas for the next book.
I could see Bessie have a great time wherever she goes. I liked
the idea of a trilogy, however I wouldn't make each of the three
so long as the last novel. I believe with a trilogy you could shorten
the book since each one would lead to the next.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Thank you, Jan! Mildred and Bessie together, will be such fun. They will be going back in time righting wrongs and helping people. I don't know if you read my last trilogy with Mildred in? If you didn't I think you'll like her when you get to know her. As always, my friend, I take notice of your reviews and value your input. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

I read the whole one about going back to England/women's rights. Is that it? 😊🐈⬛❤️
-
Yes, that's it, it was the final book in the trilogy and Mildred was in all three of them. Since that one ended I've had so many people ask me when I'm bringing Mildred back, so in the end I told them I would. Then the readers of this book, The Return, wasn't me to bring Bessie back!! Hence the idea to combine them. So far I've had 25 reviews all of them telling me to go for it! That will solve that problem of which to write first!! 😂🥰😊 xxxx
