Things That Make You Go Huh?

Well, there are lots of things that didn't make sense particularly numerically since you can't say "alone" or swimming in a desert. Why only three is considered "all" when there are quintuplets, who are identical plus look different. How they "fell up" a tree is as puzzling as a "little giant." Not sure if his or her flying is one of the conundrums but gender of the giant is as puzzling as freeing only four of the five. Best wishes in the contest!

Awe Helen you got all but one. The last one is in the first line where it says,
"different as you see." Lol, I didn't show any pictures of them so you couldn't see them. Lol! Thank you for for your fun comments and for playing my silly little game. Not sure if it made you laugh, but you sure made me smile.
So appreciated my friend!

I actually did say that in my review "identical plus look different." I didn't keep to the order of your poem.
-
Lol, I know I really am confusing, so sorry about that. I was referring to just the part that says as you see.
Just counting the fact that you couldn't see them as a separate contradiction from being different and identical.
It really was a mind bender but I was in a weird mood that day. Lol!

Lol. Yes, I can see why this would make you wonder if you were going crazy or if maybe I was drinking. I was hoping that the description would hint that I was having some fun w everyone, but so glad I put it in author's notes too.
I can't thank you enough for your kind words for this silly lil poem. It was fun to do something different.

I love to read unusual and diverse poetry and yours is unique x x x

I love puzzles, but could find eleven: two in line one, four in line two, five in line three. Is that right by your count? I laughed at the man who became a 'she'. The gender movement made it to your poem. LOL

Haha! I guess it did. You really are a spitfire and you are amazing too. I had to go back and count them because I didn't have my notes nearby. So although I have no prize to award, you just won first place. (oops another contradiction) Lol!
Thanks my friend for the smile you gave back to me and for having some fun with me and my silly lil rhyme.

Hahaha Mike, that's the best compliment I have had in a long time. I am so glad that people are having fun with this as I have enjoyed the fun too. I love lighthearted poetry better than the serious ones. Thanks again Mike and you are so very right, I feel like it has been a fun bachhievement!

Yes, this short verse poem, looks like the occasional stream of consciousness that falls out of head onto the ground, and comes to ground and I can't reside writing about it, heh heh, beautifully written and cleverly determine as an entry in this contest, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

Hahaha! Roy, in my quest to confuse the reader, you laid it right back on me.
It was fun and my favorite verbs are to pray and to laugh! Like I said you gave me a dose of my own medicine and some more chuckles. Thank you so much my friend.

Well done

Hahaha! Evi, you did awesome! if I had a prize to give, you would get it. Yours all seem right and yet there is one more that I have written down, so I must have miscounted . The one that I am referring to is where it says, they are different as you see. I don't show any picture so you can't see if they do or not. Lol! I hope you had even half of the fun as I have been having with this. You are great my friend and it was fun playing this silly game with you.
-
Ha, ha! That was fun! You tricked me on the last one! Evi

Lol! It is good to smile, isn't it?

This is a humorous entry in the Make Us Laugh poetry contest. It is also quite creative. Sorry to say, I only found seven contradictions. They are as follows:
swam to desert
three quintuplets fell
fell up a tree
little giant
man flew
she helped
four got free
Please let me know what I missed. Best wishes in the contest.

Actually Loraine, you did quite well. As much as it is possible, quintuplets are so rarely identical. But if they were then they couldn't look different. (that is 2 contradictions) The poem says as you see. I showed no picture, so you couldn't see that. (the 3rd) I think my last one was that they couldn't be alone because there were five of them. I think that was it. Thank you for having some fun with my silly poem as I am smiling through your whole review.

Haha, what a fun contest entry, Mystery Author. I enjoyed reading it,
and the end rhyme was an added bonus. Yes, I found all 10.
Identical quintuplets looked different=1 as you see
Swam alone=2 to the desert3=2=and all three=4 fell up=5a tree=6
Littlegiant7=an flew by8=; she=9 helped the four=10 get free
This reminded me of the poem about the blind man who saw it all . . .
Your image was perfect.
Best wishes in the contest, Jan

Jan you are very good and the flying by one, most are not getting if they fly by, they didn't stop. However there is one more, as I miscounted at first but just went in and changed the count to 11. In the first line, it says, they are different as you see. Lol, theres no picture of them so you can't see. Aren't I a naughty girl. Hehe!
This has been so much fun and I thank you for playing along, as I so enjoyed the fun interaction with my friends. Thanks again Jan.

rules say LESS than 30????
-
Yeah in one spot it does, Jan.
But on the contest page, it says 30 or less. I was worried about that at first so I double checked. I really appreciate you saying something tho, as if it was true I might have been disqualified. Thank you my sweet friend!

First thing I noticed they were identical, but then different. (2)
Swam alone in a desert (2)
Three fell UP a tree. (2)
Little giant (1) man (1) she (1) helped four (1)
Probably all wrong! Lol, this was a fun one, and funnier when you get us to play along. I really enjoyed this, and wish you the best of luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra you got all but one. Actually another contradiction was that there were 11 instead of 10. I did a little editing but think you read it after I did.
The last one is if they flew by or drove by, which ever way it was worded at the time, then that meant that they didn't stop. I think I will go back and tell that there were 11 though. I think it's confusing enough the way it is. Lol!
You have no idea how much fun this was to do this together and to write this. Thanks for playing along my friend.
-
Of course! Why didn't I catch that! Lol. I thoroughly enjoyed your poem and the quiz. Good luck, again! 😊
