No no no - pity more people don't have the little voice your narrator hears! Or at least, take no notice of it. This piece has a lot of homely detail, so by the end we feel we know the characters in the poem. Grand entry in the contest and your granddaughter provided the perfect illustration.

An excellent entry for the Temptation Poetry writing prompt. Good advice in the poem but I will admit that I have learned to tell when I am dreaming and there have been a few times when I says, yes yes yes, but only for a little while and only because I know it's a dream lol. I love this. Maybe you didn't realise this, but you could have maintained your rhyme on the last line by saying, go, go, go. And it would have been a whole lot more fun.
Then again, a sin is a whole lot worse than a spoiled rhyme.
