Oh, dear. There's nothing worse than being without power, unless it's having wet spots in your house. Hang in there. We're all thinking of you and sending prayers for a comfortable time.

Thank you so much, Yvonne. I'm off to bed now. Still got the internet but I'm too tired to stay up. Ulla xx

Our area would like to borrow a cup and a half of your rain, Ulla. We haven't had rain for about 5 months. It's on a cooling trend now: We've dropped into the nineties. Sorry, though, to hear of your challenges on the other end of the weather spectrum. I hope it doesn't slow Lorenzo in his quest to supply us all with bananas and fine adventure!

That's what causes it. No rain in five or six months. Been in the nineties or higher most of the time and then cooler air comes in. On Saturday we will back in the upper eighties. Can't wait. Hopefully Lorenzo will be okay. I think so. Will do my best. Now, I'm off to bed. Meanwhile, more rain is coming in.

Thinking about you and praying for you and yours. The earth has its usual cycles of heating and cooling. It's quite rainy here with a system of sorts off in the gulf. It's rained three times today already. I'm like you--writing away.... Sending you my best today and hoping for some sunshine,

Thanks a lot, Sally, and for thinking of me. The sun I won't see before Saturday, that is for sure. Meanwhile, we all cross fingers it won't get too bad. Now on to my next answers and reviews as I still got the power. Ulla xxx

It is horrible when we are in the middle of a storm, I went through cyclone Debbie a few years back, my fingers are certainly crossed for you, and my prayers are for you in this time, very well written-best wishes****kahpot

I'm sorry you're having to deal with that. We've had hard rain since Saturday here too and it was suppose to continue through tomorrow but actually I think it is over early. I hope that will happen for you as well. Stay safe and dry.

Hi Beth, we have it every year, but some years are worse than others. This is one of them. The rain is so heavy that it's frightening. My roof is holding up nicely, but I now know I have to re-tile my upper terrace. Thanks again. Ulla:)))

Thank you for the update, Ulla. I will be thinking of you. You did a good job explaining the situation. We have something similar in spring/summer when the cooler air from the north meets the hot dry air over us--likely to cause major storms with tornadoes.
Stay safe.
Respectfully, Jan
