If we would just heed your words of wisdom, there would be universal acceptance with less judgment. Unfortunately, the general attitude of people these days is to judge and condemn - without honest and humble communication. I really appreciate this short power that packs a punch.

This six-word poem, Into the Quiet, has the proper word count and tauts the three Cs of better communication: contemplating together, avoiding condemnation, and fostering connection. Neat.

Diane,
Quite fascinating how a few words carry such a strong feeling and meaning about interpersonal relationships. Each phrase-line is carefully crafted. You also selected artwork that complements your entry in this short-word contest. Of course, I like your c-letter alliterations!

I really like this six word poem, and I think that you have hit on something about friendships and connections. It is easy to develop friendships and those connections when you are young. I think that the connections are deeper because you share a kind of discovery. A shared kind of awe experience. You share the moment and the memory. And hopefully, you share it without condemnation. The experience is enough. I don't know when the condemnation starts. Or when you think others are condemning you.
This should do well. You give us a lot to think about.

Good Morning, Debbie!
Lordy! Whoever thought I would be "down and out" with a virus my grandson contracted at daycare? Just nasty. Beyond nasty! So my sincere apologies for such a late reply.
Know for a certainty that I am honored by your exceptional rating and thoughtful review. I don't know when the condemnation starts, either. But it surreptitiously sneaks into our lives... like this virus I now am entertaining...
Thank you ever so much!
Stay well!!!!!

I hate to hear that about the virus. I hate being sick. In my case, I can't breathe. So then I can't sleep. Awful, awful, awful. Hope you feel better soon.

This is brilliant! Using three multi-syllabic C words, you gave us a wise counsel about how to work things out. Now if all these divisive groups can follow your advice to shared contemplation without condemnation, they can foster connections and experience harmony! Best wishes in the contest!

A beautiful job with a six word poetry, Diane. It is so hard to do, but you really packed volumes in these 6 words and expanded it beyond the required frame (smile).
Liked your vocabulary and word choices, and the use of multi-syllable words.
Kudos! Good luck in the contest.
