A tender story. The symbolism is traditional. The story flows from beginning to end without any surprises. With the topic being handled so romantically I wanted more imagery and detail---a fairy tale setting for the magical essence of romance.

A good read that flows well. The language is languid and sonorous, a love ballad.

Thanks so much for the excellent review and your comments and suggestions. I thought there was plenty of detail and imagery in it, but it is a bit short. I wanted this to have some intensity to it. estory
