I am glad you found these inspiration quotes and that they helped you. It is so hard for us just to step back and leave our loved ones in His hands. But He sees the whole picture and only wants the best for us. Keep praying and trusting Him.

    Good morning, Anne,

Yes I am thrilled and relieved that while scrolling the net these just seemed to speak to me. Don't know if they were meant for me, but I would like to think so. Smiles, Carol

Whatever works for you, but I think it is entirely apropos to seek comfort, support, and advice wherever you can find it. No guilt applies whatever you choose to do.

I remember saying to a friend, the thing that keeps me going, when the the things we don't see, seem to to closing in like shadow shrouded trap, I remember the scripture in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, to give you a hope and a future." I apply this now for Kaitlyn, in Jesus' name. There Carol, rest my friend in the everlasting arms. Well done, blessings Roy

    Hello Roy...

I truly thought that picture and quote were put side by side for me to see yesterday.... I was so overwhelmed and then I felt calmer (not that I won't still worry my head off) but I felt like the Lord was reminding me that he was in charge of it all and would take care of it in do time. I just need to work on my patience.... I'm not good at that!

You did a great job, Carol. I believe many feel as you do about how God acts. We know He will be there, but we still have those doubts. You covered yours well. It is difficult not knowing and you want an answer immediately. I will still keep you in my prayers. Take care.
Respectfully, Jan

I pray that God understands that my heart believes all that he says, but at times when worry overcomes me, I try to take the reins and lead the way. He probably forgives me more than I can forgive myself. LOL Smiles, Carol

Those quotes you came across and decided to share mean a lot to me as well. My daughter has that newer verion of Covid and she's had it nearly a week already and isn't getting better. I'm praying for her and worrried about her, but the words you shared helped me as well. Thank you.

Oh my goodness, Beth... I pray so much that the doctors can take care of her...this Covid stuff is so dangerous and no one really knows how it's going to affect each individual. My heart and my thoughts are with you and your daughter my dear friend. I know you will find the strength to get through this...we always do!

God seems to always meet us where we are, even in our despair. He's so good to send you such a clear message of trust. He is well worth trusting. Thank you for the post and good news,
Sal XOs...

I read your last entry and I whispered a prayer for Kaitlyn, but this offering is the best, for it is the truth. God has heard your prayers and he is working on it. Sometimes it takes a while, but he will find the answer and it will be okay. Have Faith, Carol. God bless you and your family. Nancy:)

    Good morning, Nancy

I often think I lived another life as a crusader and was meant to charge forth to save the world... then realize I am just an old lady with lots of love but little ability to do anything about the situation.
thank you for your kindness and review. Smiles, Carol

Oh Carol, you are a ninny, you know God won't fail you, but like me you are impatient for results. They don't come as quick as mail-orders, but they are being worked on. Your plea this morning was just asking for help to cope, and for answers that only God can sort out. He will. But we are still here for you, and we will pray with you, and there is nothing wrong with that. We are family, a large loving family, and we are here for each other. Love you lots, my friend. :)) Sandra xxxx

Well, calling me names now are you? LOLOLOLOL You are right though.... i do know he walks with me but like you said, why can't he compete with Amazon and have the solution here tomorrow? I needed to pop the cork so to speak and get a hold of myself again. I know you are always there for me and I so appreciate it.

What a truly inspiring write. We all feel compelled to fix everything, because we care. We often forget that we can't fix everything, and that sometimes God has greater reasons to not have them fixed (from our perspective). We all have jobs to do, and he calls us all home, sooner or later. He knows why we must endure certain things, and when is the perfect time to call us home to Him. We need to trust and accept that. Definitely not always easy things to do. And that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to help people, it just means that we may be stymied in our efforts because He has other plans. Many times his plans coincide with our desires and actions, and He DOES use us as instruments.

    Good morning, Susan

You know I am an impatient person and even though my mind and heart tell me it's in the Lord's hands.... part of me wants it to be like Amazon...your order will arrive tomorrow.

I know the Lord's timetable doesn't match mine...I never expected to
lose my children before me... but I still fight his will...dumb me!

I know he probably laughs at my efforts and shakes his head knowing they are fruitless... thank heavens he knows I truly do have faith in him even if I weeble wobble at times.

Thanks so much for always being there for me...Hugs, Carol

The good Lord will supply our needs, but we have to keep the persistence to recognize what he is advising. It reminds me of those people in Louisiana who face flooding all the time. People came in boats to tell a family to leave their homes, but the man said he was a Bible believing Christian and would trust God for protection. The Red Cross came three times to try and save them. Two times in a boat, while they hung out the windows of the second and third floors, and refused help. Then, a helicopter came and dropped down a cable for them to climb up. They again, said, I'm a Bible believing Christian and God will save us. Anyway, they drowned. And when they got to Heaven, the man stood in front of God and asked Him why he hadn't rewarded his faith and saved them. And God said, "Mr. I sent two boats and a helicopter." LOL. We have to trust and have faith, but we have to listen for the answers. Sorry for the novella.

Good morning, dear friend of mine

I've heard that story before and know it to be true, unfortunately this stubborn old woman often forgets and thinks she needs to be in control...I must have been a crusader in another life... always out to save the world. LOL

Hope you are feeling okay... I send my best wishes for a great day!
