Hello Pharp,
Nice piece of Spiritual Poetry having impressive phraseology, smooth flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting the poet's devotion to Jesus.
These lines are particularly noteworthy:
"To keep your commands is my goal -
Lord, I know you are in control."

You did a great job, Portia. I enjoyed reading your poem. The color scheme works well. I like the way the last line is repeated or subtly changed. Your rhymes are well-chosen. There's good flow and a great message for all. This sounds like it could be a prayer, too.

Our God is an awesome God, who is always in control. I love your poetry. It's uplifting, inspirational, and carries a message of joy and peace.
