HAHA, Janet. I think most of us can relate to those feelings. This is a very nice poem and I enjoyed the imagery and thoughts it brought about. I remember days like that back in Illinois, but Nevada doesn't have that many rainy days. LOL

Enjoyed this piece JM. Thought the way you started the piece as a kind of somber reflection of a slow boring rainy day then juxtaposed that with the humor of the last lines was very profound and amusing. Keep up the great work.

I really like this poem it expresses how a lot of us feel on a Monday,
It hasn't stopped raining here in Ireland in forever, I cant wait for a dry day some sunshine.

Good work...I like the picture with the morning rain drops. A rainy day can be a lazy day. That's alright, as long as there coffees.
