I would get lost in books as a kid, and an adult. As a child I loved the ones with interesting pictures and I'd pretend I was in them. Though I know little about this type of poetry, I found it very interesting and reminded me of my childhood. =]

a book for a hours, or days on end, cradled in fantasies or adventures

This is a lovely nonet and books can be magical. You make you poem sound magical by mentioning the stardust. I've read books that were so entertaining that I didn't put them down until finished even it meant all night. It did occur to me though that if I knocked a book from my top shelf what fell on me would be just plain old ordinary dust. LOL

A book can carry you away, a destination, a place you've never visited before... people to meet, sights and sounds. It's all good, especially in this Covid year when we're obliged to stay indoors. You might enjoy a trip to Hawaii this winter!
It looks like a few fairies in the picture, so your book must be a fantasy.
This would have been a great entry for the Nonet contest coming up. It's perfect.
