Great write here, Alcreator Writer.
I'm a big fan of alliteration and you
have used it well. My favorite is the
last line: 'Fake fables fade, fall, faint fast '

Fabulous!

How lies prevail until the light is shown upon them. Very nice work here. I like the imagery and the wording you have used. Very thought provoking. Also, the colors you have chosen really fit well with your work. Thanks for sharing, my mind will be racing for hours now, and it's past my bed time:)

Hi, Alcreator, shades of Hopkins! Like sprung rhythm with all that alliteration.

I counted, yes, you have 5/7/5/77. Some of the publications use much shorter syllables---3/5/3/5/5 or variations. And many tanka are much simpler than yours.
You make me think, though, and I appreciate that---philosophical.

Anyway, enjoyed, as I always enjoy haiku and tanka.

You are so very talented, as you know. Thanks again for the authors notes. I like learning and you are a wonderful and knowledgeable teacher. I enjoyed this piece, it was not as difficult as Artist. Missy01

This reminds me of the saying that evil can win for a while, but in the long run, good will eventually prevail. I liked this one a lot.

The rhythm is balancing ever flowing all so well.
I like how line one and two feed off each other and how the tempo is able to pace, and jumps out at the end

I give six stars, but the rating did not show me that option

well this is one for the ages as you so secretly say

Dark salutes false light = evil paying its regards to lies

Shades truth, soars humdrum hourly =acting as the truth/constantly

Sun shines silent still =the earth and time still goes forth

Timeless true wisdom glows earth=the real God and His wisdom is a shinig light

Fake fables fade, fall, faint fast = lies and false religions will all CRUMBLE

that is my best guess at this one.

What I liked most about this was the sun which you said represented true wisdom, and how it does not soar above the head for all to see. It is silent and still. Which means you must search for it.
Excellent job bringing out these types of thoughts.
Congrats!

Well Tanks don;t take long to read. But there's a lot of truth packed into a few words. Probably what makes them so outstanding. And this one was

Timeless true wisdom glows earth
Fake fables fade, fall, faint fast

So well said.
