Hi

I cannot see the sense in this collection of words, which could have been generated with a computer programme.

Sorry, these torture chambers with words screaming for help
do not find me liking the screams or the scenes.

These types of poems always take me some time to figure out. I read it several times referring to your notes, which were very helpful. It has a nice flow to it and also a nice theme, false wisdom is definately not a good thing and silence is definately golden. Nice job!

i liked the poem but i believe that there is no such thing as a fake wisdom or untrue wisdom, otherwise that would not be wisdom at all. a similar thought has been expressed in a chinese poem(i could not recall the author's name) which tells about the elements of wisdom. Good or bad, wisdom is not timeless. it was just an honest appraisal of the situation on a given time frame and location.

Kudos too you...Not a real fan of Tanka poems...But this one was good...Great imagery...Strong word selection...Paints a very senic picture...If only Wisdom came with an instruction manual...Instead of a picture album filledwith memories after the fact...Great piece...

Dark salutes false light

And this line said it all for me. It held the overall theme and set the tone appropriately. Well done. :)

Till sunshine, dark reigns in the fools' world;
sun shines and foolishness reveals;
sun glows and borrowed light (fake wisdom) fades away.

Badda bing.
No need to say more.

This is perfected poetry full of truth for the perciever to grab hold of.

I liked the Authors notes, helps to explain tanka poems to those of us just starting out. Nice not to harsh and flows, the message is clear and there is good uncomplicated use of words.

Very poignant
