Fine line you have drawn beteeen the wise and the fools like day night .light dark. I think sometimes wise people tend to fool themselves in order respect others or keeping mum but at the end one thing stays and its the key- self respect

this is very interesting , alcreator, written to make people think, i say it is about the good that's hidden behind greed until circumstances force the truth out.

I LIKE THE TITLE OF THIS piece of writing on the subject of greed.
As is usual with your works, i find it very difficult to understand the way you use your words. CHEERS

Very thoughtfully written and intelligent! I really enjoyed the stanza Waste, lose resources at both ends! I am also inspired the author created a Rictameter a style that I'm not familiar with now I am curious to try. Also each syllable on each stanza flowed gracefully into the other.

Greedy!
Haste to see, pass
Comments, views, remarks just
Think, boast, chat, pride poor like fools
Wink, escape or ignore keys, what-why-how?

Waste, lose resources at both ends!
Mess, shade wise for some time,
Leave no deep mark,
Greedy!

I always have to read your work through two or three times, as I so want to understand it -- sometimes I do, but this first verse has left me confused. Are you referring to reviews on FanStory - am I right??
Second verse, more understandable, but still seems a little disjointed.

sorry, ALD

Margaret

This piece is on point as far as the syllable count is concerned. The writer delivers a profound message that taps into the mind of the reader. The author notes is a great help as well. Nice work.

I can make no sense of this one.

I have read it over four times and each time come away perplexed.

The only partial sentence that I could understand was:Leave no deep mark,

Unfortunately, for me, this was a description of the poem itself.

I will give you a 4 for your persistent effort. I can tell there seems to be a lot of emotion locked in this, but I have no idea what the emotions are trying to convey.

Hugs, d

Our poet makes the English language seem to be cryptic and mysterious. He makes us wonder what he means.Very simply I say that we are all basically ambitious and greedy as long as we are slaves to our wants and desires. So maybe detachment is our religious calling. Best wishes. -Ekim

Excellent work. This contains much wisdom.

Greedy! Haste to see - you are correct. Greed is hasty. It drives a person to get, get, get. See it all, hear it all, do it all. On and on and on it goes, as you describe here.

haste to see, pass comments, views, remarks, think, boast, chat, pride... waste, lose resources at both end... Mess... leave no deep mark

"Leave no deep mark" in and of itself says a lot, because greed moves so fast. No time for deep footprints, but it leaves shallow marks everywhere.

At the root of greed is insecurity. People are looking everywhere for something to hold onto and in the end coming up with nothing, as you share in these remarkable verses.

I liked the line "Wink, escape or ignore keys, what-why-how?" So much thought is so few words. I didn't understand "leave no deep mark".
