To deepwater,
Whatever goal we set for ourselves I'm sure we all hope the recipients of our endeavors will be rewarded to our children provided that they will receive it with love and humility.

A very profound and thought provoking poem espoused in simple way but causes us to stop and think
Life is a cycle and we can't expect from others what we ourselves do not do
Well paired picture and poem

Great poem with a great picture. Good word flow talking about taking pride in our ancestors accomplishments. Good message with good thoughts.

The photo compliments the piece well as the words paint a clear picture in my mind. Good description and alliteration. This piece ends with a thought provoking question. Short but sweet.

This is a very well written poem. It's short but to the point. Your words flow well, your message clear and easy to understand. Love the question you pose here.

I'm not sure what you mean by referring to a singular person's achievements having anything to do with the achievements of the collective! I would have thought that the singular achievement stands alone! But a well written work nonetheless! Well done, blessings, Roy.

Hello deepwater,

This is a seemingly simple piece, but the depth of the words causes the reader to pause and ponder.

Profound statements. So well put.

Have a great week!

This poem gives the reader a lot to think about. What are we, but what has already transpired. What has transpired shapes who we are and what we will become. I enjoyed reading this poem. It made me stop and pause in contemplation on its deeper meaning... John

Very short but very true. We are quick to talk down what our forebears managed with what they had. How many of us will actually leave behind something for us to be remembered by except for by our families. We are but a grain of sand in the whole scheme of things and very few will be remembered long after they are gone. Well written.
