Brooke, beautifully rhymed on this one - words just slip off the tongue.
As fun to read as this was, anytime Sawyer and mum want to cheer me up - we can Skype or Facetime. Their choice... Jean

I loved this one. I don't know if you realize, Brooke, but I, and I'll bet others, sit here at the computer and read your poems, look at the pics you post and grin like monkeys. I'm glad no one can see me. Lol. Good thoughts here and as usual, it flows and rhymes so well. My favorite line, I think, is "and peas are on the plate," I have to agree with the little kids--yuck.

when go carts crash and dreams are dashed
and troubles just abound,
a funny face is all it takes
to turn a day around.
When I read your name, I quickly see Sawyer, and I tip my mouse on your poem, this one Brooke, is outstanding, just adorable, that boy is a hit, he has a future, God bless him. The variable faces he did came out so so cute, and extremely strong. Beautiful, when he grows up, it will be wonderful for him to watch all his amazing pictures of when he was young. Love hi. Love Terry xoxo

Another perfectly rhymed poem from the master of rhyme. I love the way you take such a simple thing and turn it into such an entertaining piece. A great series of pictures too, Pete

I thik if we had ten sixes a week, I would still run out with these wonderful poems. I love the illfated things and the peas on the plate was a killer line. I love peas, and I think I am theonly person I know that does. Great job, once again, turning the mundane into fun.

Hi Brooke,
What cute pictures of your daughter and grandson. I know a person always feel better if they make funny faces and laugh at themselves. When I'm feeling down or aching a lot I make faces in the medicine cabinet mirror until I laugh. May be dumb, but it works.

Such a splendid poem, Brooke. You are just a born poet, I think. No matter what you write, it reads so smoothly and lately some humour to entice the reader. Enjoyed this so much.

I love this poem. It uses very descriptive imagery to convey the message that when things in life are turned upside down, the funny face can turn it around. I especially like the variety of descriptions that can all go wrong sometimes in one day it seems. Great job!
