You have written another ahhhhh, poem. I loved it. I am so happy that school is out and I am able to catch your work immediately, on really busy weeks I think I missed some of your work. That is my loss.

Lovely write about special friends, Sawyer and Nora, Brooke.
It's great Sawyer has this lovely little girl friend.

Particularly like 'The grass grows greener where we stroll'.

Very much enjoyed.

Best wishes, Ray

Thank you so much, Ray - the two of them are perfect together, whether being quiet like this or acting totally silly. :-) Brooke

It's also great Sawyer has a female friend which will help him have a more balanced outlook as he grows up.

I never had one as a kid, and I went to a single sex school. The result was I was scared stiff of females when I realised their purpose (LOL)...and I still am. :-) xx

Sawyer's in no danger of that - between Chloe and Nora, he has more than plenty experience with girls :-) He's quite the ladies' man - he also LOVES his nanny Myra and even the housekeeper Amanda even though she only is there one day every other week. LOL He hugs and kisses them all. :-)

Such a sweet picture and a precious poem. I love the line about their words ending in flawless rhyme and then the very last line with them making the perfect we...is so sweet. Great flow and meter.

Hi Brooke,

What a lovely poem of dedicated love. You know, sometimes the best photos are those not staged or planned - just happenstance. This photo is simplistic yet speaks volumes with the clasping of their hands.

Well done.

Cheers,
Keep Smilin'.... Jax

I have hit the jackpot today. Another goodie Brooke. Your muse is working overtime. However, keep it rolling. Hug that Sawyer for us. Shalom. .

This another beautiful poem. This poem is an encouragement as it reconnects me to the positive things in life. I especially enjoyed the lines, "hand in hand, just you and me as we make the perfect we." I look forward to reading more of your work.

This is such a heart warming poem, Brooke! I love the photo and your notes as well. It's so good Sawyer has that friend that is like a big sister, we all need relationships like that. Beautiful aabb rhyme scheme. Just wonderful!!

No better inspiration than the love of family;
A well-penned poem incorporating good alliteration:
As grass grows so does the strong bond between siblings.
A pleasure to read, a delightful writing of how we all need to love another.

The grass grows greener where raindrops fall, but where Bambi goes it doesn't grow at all. Young love is such a delight to watch until the two discover gymmy germs and cooties. Uncle Mike
