You have our prayers. Very touching and moving poem, Holding so much truth for your reader to take this journey with you. At this time you need us to take this journey with you. Hold on to Christ, his grace is suffient.

I can feel your fatigue and the chemicals that are being put in your body. I can see how they effect your hair and nails. Your words are so descriptive of the ordeal you go through mentally and physically. This is so well written. Bravo! I pray God's peace and strength to get you through. Many prayers for your healing. God Bless you

Thank you for sharing this. I cannot imagine what it must be like. I have known a few people who have gone through this and their courage, grace, and dignity are an inspiration to others. Thank you for these words of sorrow, but also of faith and encouragement. Prayers to you, Linda

Barabara, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I send you healing, light and love. I don't know where you live, but I am in South Florida. I did volunteer work for the woman's group called "look good, feel great." It is through the American Cancer Society. It is an excellent organization and you probably have one there. I wish I lived near you. I do incredible work cutting the tempoarary hair pieces and look good feel great provides them at no cost and all of the hair dressers are volunteers so there is absoulty no cost to you ever. If they don't then have them contact local hair companies, many donate. Your hair and nails will come back. I know this for sure. I have worked with so many of the gals who went through this. If I can help in any way, please let me know. I am here for you. God Bless.

Thank you for your encouraging thoughts. I will look them up. This has happened so fast and I have tried to maintain working that I have not actually taken time to actually search things out. Thank you, again.

The free-writing, putting down your feelings is a good idea. Now I feel like an idiot when I say you have no structure and then I look at your notes about starting chemo. I'm feeling all kinds of stupid now. Good luck and keep writing.

I mentioned in my author's notes, I am not a poet, but somehow this didn't sound right in a romance novel. Although, I did write a romance novel a few years ago about a young lady who had breast cancer, maybe I need to search it out and do a major rewrite now I know what I am talking about.

The art work is so very special, and your words written here,
I am sure your "Guardian Angel" will care for you.
I feel God is near us when we are ill. Our families give so
much care and support, and friends.

"Tears and fears surface" for me too just thinking of what you are going through, have been through and though I can't help you in the religious department, I am Jewish, not practicing but fiercely proud of my heritage, and in every possible way, I am sending you every god thought I have ever had. There is so much in my heart for you and every bit is going to you Barbara. With your wonderful attitude and al the thoughts of your family and your extended FS family, VICTORY will indeed be yours and may it come swiftly with as little discomfort as is possible. You will need your strength, that is true, but it also true that you have it to draw on. Some of your finest poetry may well come out of this difficult time. I trust you will also have the strength to lean on those who love you. The Blue Pixel aka Carol

Thank you for your thoughts. One of the biggest blessing to me has been my FS friends. No matter where they live or their religion, they have come together in unity. Wow!!!!! How powerful is that.

Very powerful Barbara and your wonderful attitude is even more so. Thinking of you. xx Carol

And a hero you are. The fear, courage, faith and support, reigns throughout your words, sweet, simple, and beautifully poetic. Always remember, there is a silent place within you, where nothing hurts, bruises, or weakens. I sense one thing for certain: You are very loved. And I pray that such love will get you through this. May all seem strange coming from a total stranger, yet we all walk among God's children....brothers and sisters. Bless you and your loved ones...
Many Blessings...and prayers
