You have added some new and exciting characters. It will be interesting to see how they are all going to connect. That is one part of reading I really like a lot...finding out how all the pieces (and people) will be fitting together.

Aaaaah, yes.... interesting characters indeed: can you guess what each is?? ;) :)

Some of these names sounds like an Indian nationality. Soon find out as I read on; I'll probably find out what happens in the next chapter as the woman is laid to rest. Can't wait to read more about Maggie.

Many new characters introduced. Good descriptions off each woven into the story. I am beginning to see all the connections and how they relate. Very good so far.

"Chief Pissin Sunshine, Chief Pissin Sunshine?" Lady you have some serious skills, your characterizations, are really on point, Lyca, Peadar, Koko, and Kato have appeared as if painted onto the page; nicely done. I like the way you weave expository and intrigue into your characters. the shadowy Demetrius, and the maybe not so nice Geoffrey, Yeah I gotta read the rest of this one.

Wow, Stephen!! So glad to know you like my 'style' -- some on here do not (not that I'll change for anyone...LOL! LOL!) so it's just a wonderful ray of sunshine (not the pissin' kind!!) to read your review and see those stars! :) ;) I cannot wait for life to slow down so that I can start writing their stories again... they've been really poking at me in my imagination, but I have to make time for sleep too!!! :) ;) LOL! :) Just a few more weeks and I should be 'back to the keyboard' for fun and not work/family issues...LOL! ;) ;) Thanx again, sir, and I'm so glad you're on board! :) :) Take care out there! ;) :) Yvette ;)

Quite the Motley Crue we've been introduced to here I am looking forward to quickly reading the next to tie in. I have learned my lesson and have decided that with some patience my curiosity can be quelled! So out of necessity more so than luxury I have implemented my new strategy- lol! I love your descriptions of the people and I want to meet this large blonde man! He sounds like my type lol! Thank you beatiful teacher and the queen and reigning Madam recognized writer you are adding more intrigue to an already fascinating read! I love it! Cheers, Fonda

Oh, Fonda, I'm so glad you found the time to go back and get caught up -- and you can stop with the compliments, Beautiful Lady -- you're giving my the big head of over-confidence! ;) :) LOL! So glad it's interesting and that you're jumping on-board! ;) :) With your comments on what you've already read, I think you should enjoy! :) Yvette

Hi YM,
Intriguing story line! You've got me hooked - I'll be looking for tomorrow's installment.
Only one teensy suggestion for your consideration:
"encased in that perfectly-fitted suit flowing like huge jungle cat on the prowl"
I believe your text will flow more effectively if you insert the word "a" in between "like" and huge" above.
Thank you for sharing your delightful read. I am looking forward to more...

Oh my goodness -- thank you, Jan!! :) :) You know, that's just one of those things that your mind actually 'inserts' as you've read through the first twenty or more times before posting - LOL! :) :) Seriously, though, thanx for catching that -- it's all fixed now. :) ;) And so very glad you stopped in for this one -- they are definitely an eclectic group, but they get even more interesting... :) :) Don't miss the second part of the chapter that's already out there... Take care and have a wonderful weekend! :) Yvette ;)

What an interesting group of characters. I can't wait to see how they connect to Maggie. This seems like it will be a very interesting story. I can't wait to see what happens.

LOL! Thanx for stopping in, Ron -- and I promise they get even more interesting ... and that before Maggie joins them! ;) Take care and have a great weekend! :) ;) Yvette

That was really sad, especially the last line. I liked the sound of this family, they really come across as nice people in their own way. Kato wouldn't be sent away from my friendship corner! Well, I happen to know that next part is ready and waiting for me. :)) Sandra xxx

Oh, I'm so glad you can relate to this 'group of misfits', Sandra -- I promise you that they will prove to be more and more interesting as the story progresses! :) Stay tuned! :) Yvette

I say, Yvette, you have a strange aray of characters. A giant, an Indian, a maintenance bad ass associate, an Amazon, and a teenage man. Throw in a sandwich trio and walla you have a strange story. If it wasn't weird already. :) I like the makings. Thank you for sharing.

One small nit: "...short, stout, quite muscular man (was)..." Not "were".
And now my rant, before my review. If you check my profile page you will see it too, or in the forum, if Tom doesn't delete it, as he has done once in past over something I wrote there.
These latest postings did not show (for me) on your profile page. I didn't even have THIS box to review when I went into your portfolio. I had NUMEROUS and VARIED problems on this site with my account -- gremlins -- for years. Suddenly, this year, everything seemed to be working fine = until this morning. (AGAIN)
But, enough of that. On to your review... EXCEPTIONAL. I'm too beat to say more. It's after 5:00 a.m. and I've been up all night. Thanks to the glitches, everything takes WAY too long.

Thanx for that catch, ma'am, and thanx so much for your wonderful comments on this one! :) ;) And you are welcome to rant any time...whenever I experience glitches like that I just write them off cuz I've got other crazy school things to deal with (LOL!) :) ;) :) Hope you got some sleep and be sure to catch part 2! :) ;) Take care up there! :) Yvette

I have plenty to deal with offline too, and that's the problem--the glitches not only mar the joy of being here, they eat away the time I have available. THAT gremlin craziness drives me CRAZY. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
You're very welcome, Yvette.
