Patricia, this poem is beautifully inspirational. After many trials in my own life, I have come to accept that these events occurred because the were supposed to, and it may take years for me to understand why, if I ever do. I can still take solace in the fact that it's all part of God's plan.

This is a beautiful poem. The message is clear and strong.
Yes, there is much we must pass through, both good and bad. Faith will lead the way.
It has good rhythm and rhyming.
Well done.

How comforting, your words flow into me, and I feel calm. Like sipping on a fine wine, my troubles just disappear. But unlike fine wine the feeling is lasting. I am grateful everyday for my faith, and you who keep that faith alive.

Yes a salutary lesson for us here in these stanzas with regard to life's journey and its many 'trials' - if only we can trust in a Higher Power taking care of our needs 'fret not'

When my daughter was sick as a little girl, I was lucky because the terrible suffering never made me question my faith.
Your poem reminded me of that moment in time.
Luckily she's okay now and enjoying life to the full.
Thanks for sharing.

Please do not misunderstand. I think this was well written and conveys to most comforting message. I am still at the stage where I don't understand God allowing so many to go through such horrific pain, difficulties and other such things. You don't need to respond to this. This is a question I need to deal with on my own. Still a nice job with this one and I am sure one day I will agree.

Thank you for the kind review, Sasha, I am not sure why God would allow us to suffer. But with His allowing me to suffer, I have spent more time with Him in his word.

All children have to journey through the trials and tribulations of life and we should all try and make their journey as safe as possible and you have written of the ill paths they may tread but offer hope, excellent Patricia.

Thank you for interpreting the Psalms in these rhymed quatrains. I admired your speaking in the voice of the Lord and your reference to "sisters" and "brothers". I enjoyed your embedding the title in your art. Cheers- Joan
