Analie, on my goodness, how I can so identify with this poem. As an abuse little girl, mostly by my mother emotionally and father physically, it took a lot of counselling for me to realize that in the eyes If God I was worthy to be loved. God proved that love for me by giving me one very terrific husband who love me so much that our marriage was great and we provided an emotionally happy and healthy home for our three daughters. I am sure there may be many here on this site who will be able to identify with your words as well. Patricia

Thank you Patricia ... I too have a loving husband, and we, together, created a loving and happy home for our four children.

I am not on this site to promote book, but rather to share and to learn from others. However, I think you might enjoy reading it. So, if you are interested I could give you information. The book is about a very painful, but triumphant and beautiful, journey of recovery from a horrific experience of abuse I suffered as an adult ... which opened up so many childhood memories. The book has won awards, and critical acclaim ... for which, I have been very humbled.

So, just let me know. As I said, that is not why I am on this website, so I will not mention it again.

Your offer is lovely. However, I have severe eye problems and cannot read books anymore. I am only able to read the computer because I can make the font large enough for me to read. When my eyes were good, I was an avid reader and miss holding a book in my hand to read.
