Young love was a time long ago when life was simple, single, and sweet, Dragonpoet. :) Then life sets in and the kids start to cry. We work all day and the bills pile high. Not so simple anymore now there are two or three at the door. All are single and the kids... well they are sweet. :) Thank you for sharing.

What a lovely interpretation of this artwork! It's nostalgic and hopeful. If it's true love, the bond will only grow stronger over time. From small beginnings, the seed of love grows when it is nourished by light and warmth from conjoined hearts.

I'm not here to counterpunch the thought and I wish that it was true but with half of marriages ending in divorce, if a cure was used, only half the time it endures.

You are right about the sad statistics of divorce. I think some divorce would be countered if marriage isn't forced on a girl and boy who create a baby. But this was only to tell what you feel at the beginning of love. You always feel it will last forever.
