Could the USA be Charged for War Crimes?

Thread Started November 29 at 2:42PM

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but did not Obama in the last year make it possible for victim families to sue Saudi Arabia for events of 911?

Trump's retweeting of Britaain First (the alt-right UK group)videos this morning and additional tweets has caused many people to once again question the POTUS;s mental stability, I wondered if our worse fears of his proximity and power to access the nuclear codes became a reality and Trump rodered an attack on N. Korea. Could the USA be held criminally and financially responsible for what could be hundreds of thousands of deaths?

Any legal minds out there that can offer an opinion?

Then after Trump retweets a fake video about a Dutch boy from a white supremacist group, he responds to PM Theresa May "don't focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!" HUH??

Sorry I can't help you with the law, but the Republicans might want to be looking into it, as it's becoming clearer with each passing day the POTUS is unstable. But then you check out Fox News and they're going on and on about president Hillary's emails. They just do not understand the difference between being the president and being a citizen. They seem to be operating under the delusion that Clinton is president.

I'm guessing the legal entanglements would be so convoluted as to be fruitless in the long run. Proving hostile acts against a threatening madman are not justified is difficult even if the hostile acts are being made by an equally insane madman. It wouldn't be like he's attacked Portugal and Spain suffered collateral damage.

In current news: He lied for over an hour to a cheering crowd of folks he was planning to screw hugely and beautifully in the near future.

Everyone is so used to him lying, that no one even raises an eyebrow. He claims he's going to lose with the new tax plan and further that the rich are going to lose too. In fact the poor and middle class are going to score big time. LIES

He claims there is record growth not seen in decades. LIES Obama had MANY months of higher percentage growth than he is bragging about.

There are dozens more, but who cares?

He's got poor Propaganda Barbie in hot water violating the Hatch act. Nice of him, yes? Poor Kellyanne. LOL

Good question. Who cares? It seems everyone has normalized lying. Tragically the phrase I hear often these days--Is Trump just (WHAT? JUST?) dishonest or delusional? PEOPLE SEEM LESS CONCERNED ABOUT THE FORMER, BUT NOW SUSPECT THE LATTER.

From what I've been reading and seeing, I believe people are becoming seriously concerned that his honesty, actions, words, and attitude do not appear normal.

I put it that way, since I'm not a medical person..What is even more disturbing to me, is that all of this seems to be accepted by those in his administration and other republicans...We are told that we must accept him as he is...that its his intention to change the system for the better.

So much is being said, behind doors, only to be leaked and yet they are willing to allow his behavior that could actually cause this country harm.

I seriously believe republicans, and others, are afraid of trump, his tweets, news conferences, and of course his, what I call campaign speeches, are directed at his supporters, it keeps them in line.

Because I don't like or respect trump, I try to understand just what it is about this man that I detest...and sadly I have to admit that I believe he is a man that has built a life on bullying...I don't like that in a child, and certainly not in the so called leader of this country

The latest tweets relating to those videos shows a man that is desperate...he is losing support, and he knows it...I just cannot believe that we, the people, can see what congress doesn't.

They can do something about him, but their concern is about what they can do to keep their seats.

We may be on a path that cannot be reversed...

Just Some Thoughts!
