Be your own conductor

The Reconstructer

by Frederick Samson

A life in loco motion,
Non stop,
No station,
Lack patience,
No location,
No return,
Just a trail,
Don't look back,
Off the tracks,
A destiny without destination,
A tailless tale,
Forever turn,
Ever twist,
Never learn,
Ever missed,
Every ride,

Life in crumbles,
I stumbled,
Though I do try,
Conduct my mind,
Halt my stride,
Take to a stand,
Hold out my hand,

Look behind,
So to find,
The light that stalks me,
Keeps my tainted path in the shade,
My past is black,
But my futures darker,

I go backwards but forwards at the same time,
Trackwards, I go towards the light but I'm blind,

Attempting to change my fate,
But unfortunately it's too late,

It hits me,

Left in pieces,
Rest in peace,

Was I trained,
To not feel pain,

Nothing seems to be hurtin,
As my life is flashing by,
I'm awoken,
Beaming through the curtain,
A start lashing my eyes,
Unbroken,

I'm not dead,
I find myself in my bed.

Another chance,
To go again,

The rain washes away all my doom and gloom with its shower,

Life is replayed, till I get it right,

That's my super human power.
