Must be careful when drinking Coke at a game.
Unexpected Pain

Relaxing at my son’s Pony League game, I watch a yellow jacket circling near my sweaty Coke can. My attention is drawn as my son comes to bat. He takes a strike, then lines the next pitch into center field. I tip my cap and give him a well-done wave. I take a long swig of my soft drink, slush it about but when I was about to swallow, I feel something moving, then a piercing sting to my cheek. I spit out the Coke and look down; clinging to blade of grass is a smiling, Coke-soaked, yellow jacket wasp.
