Messenger

“SAVE US!”
I shuddered as I felt the impact of the message. Was it from God? Was there someone out there needing help? They were probably hurt, or worse. I felt compelled to do something.
“FREE US!”
There it was again. Slightly different this time but a definite calling. But to who? And where? I promised myself I would do something.
“PLEASE!”
I could feel the urgency pulling at me.
Feeling like a modern-day superhero I greedily gobbled down the remains of my alphabet soup and passed the bowl to Mum for a second helping. Word searching was always fun.
