The slurry of my thoughts
spiral slowly into the abyss
of forgetfulness.

Hades

from where they can't escape,
from where they cannot haunt me.

Almighty God,
fill the hollows of my heart
with joy and thankfulness.
Your light will overrule the shadows
and bath me in your endless love.

Please be my Guide forever
sustain me when I stumble
on the path I still must go.
No more resistance, I surrender.
You show me, and I follow.
