Echoed thoughts...

by royowen

So many are these echoed thoughts of hope within my breast.
A jewelled frame when glimpses come that flow from wisdom's crest.
So many deep reflections seep, they gather in my soul,
they are the future's timely ghosts as written on time's scroll.

So many things I do not know, perhaps it's just as well,
this wisdom is too much for me decanted from this well.
I guess one day I'll really know indeed as I am known.
But yet I'll have to bide my time till mystic wisdom's sown.

This shell is merely beauty's host
that harbours Heaven's dreams.
And when the final curtain falls,
plays haven to hope's schemes.

If his poem sounds a little confused, that's only because all of us at some stage live more in reflection than out of them. I'm very fortunate, inasmuch I'm certain where I'm going, but sometimes I grope for those glimpses of things that appear as ghosts and... seem too mysterious, donĂ¢??t fall into Human understanding. Just one of those things, knowing my own depths, (there's lots of stuff) and truly apprehending God, whose depths are unfathomable by the human mind, but not the spirit, folks pretend they know...but the don't.
1Corinthians 13:12 "For now we see only a reflection; then e shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know even as I am fully known."
