The True Meaning of Life

by lancellot

Okay, the true meaning of life.
Has nothing to do with kids or a wife.
Life is an experiment gone horribly wrong.
It started when an omnipotent being came along.
He was cruising the void, when a thought struck his head.
Wouldn’t it be nice with a car and road to drive on instead?
But a smooth road needed a pretty view too, so he made the Earth.
Then he needed a car factory and workers for the Earth to be any worth.
And, because it was the cheapest thing he had, he made a man out of dirt.
Man hungers, so an ecosystem was made, then a woman, because man must flirt.
A million years or so later the first 2020 Honda Civic SC was sold for fifty-five grand.
God’s son gets grounded for speeding down the California coast just like He planned.
