A short poem about my passing out

Back In The Hospital Again

by GE Parson

Yeah, back in the wheel chair again
Waiting for my body to mend.

My legs are real so weak
So I've got the best seat.

BACK IN THE WHEEL CHAIR AGAIN

I passed out and was found on the floor,
What exactly happened, I know not for sure.

I was put on a gurney, I was told
And in an ambulance to the hospital I rode.

NOW I'M BACK IN THE WHEEL CHAIR AGAIN

For three days and nights I was made to sleep
With a respirator in my throat down deep.
.
When I awoke, I thought
I had, had a stroke.

I was in the hospital room ICU
Being check for Corona flue.

I do not remember a lot those days,
My mind was still in a foggy hays.

I remember a couple of RN's
Sisters were they, cute hard working twins.

One, no, two things I learned about hospitals,
Hospital food is not made for eating,
And their beds were not made for sleeping.

Well, I'm home now, getting better all the time,
Two things I'm enjoying; my own bed, and my sweet Sunshine.
