Many writers turn lack of writing activity into physical activity. It could be perceived as procrastination, but sometimes a lot of housework or gardening can get done. If you sit down to write and nothing is happening mentally, then please come over to my place -- my bathroom needs cleaning and garden needs attention, because I'm too busy writing!
