Nature and the Queen

by Aussie

Butterfly, butterfly where have you been?
Under the arbor with the Queen
Talking about what you have seen?
Trying to tell her about Covid19
ER gave you the nod
Regina gave me flowers in sod
Fly away butterfly tell everyone
Leave the Covid19 in the sun
Yesterday's flowers are all done

Acrostic Poetry Contest contest entry

Acrostic Poem for Contest: the butterfly has a short lifespan, they are so beautiful and represent new life. There are so many of them at the moment - a good sign of new life. I just wish they would not lay eggs on my veggie patch! I love them. Some readers seem not to know what ER means, Elizabeth Regina (the Queen of England)
Regina is latin for Regent or Ruler.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
