The Wild Strawberry
by sunnilicious
Day 6 - Write a poem from the point of view of one person/animal/thing found on Hieronymous Bosch's (famous triptych) The Garden of Earthly Delights.
Note: I decided to write a thing. I have written many narratives, but not for fruit. My thing (aka fruit choice) was the wild strawberry in this ancient painting.
Note: I have always loved strawberries fresh from a patch. Wild strawberries were a thing around Washington State. Seattle Art Musuem's Olympic Park actually planted some, but rarely any berries bloomed. Every where else that I saw wild strawberries, I became estatically happy... I saw them rampant in a patch at a park in Victoria, BC - Canada. Simply intoxicating to see. However, I have not tried these wild berries yet. I must prefer harvested strawberries.
