When Will They Get There?

Sy, and his mom My, got to the plane by five.
Bobby, Sy’s buddy, and Bobby’s mom, Dy, came late.
What made you late?” Sy asked.
“We waved at the bus,” Bobby said,
“but it didn’t see us,” said Dy.
“We ran fast and caught it,” Dy said, “and Bobby almost cried.”
“Then we ran and found you,” Bobby said.
Bobby and Sy sat and waited for the plane.
Which bus did you catch?” Sy asked.
“Number ten,” Bobby said.
“Pam sat next to me. She wore a red and white baseball cap.
“The one that’s such a nice fit? The one she wears to pitch?” Sy asked.
“Yeah, Bobby said.
Then they ate chips while their moms checked on the plane.
Sy, My, Bobby, and Dy flew to Ipswich.
